Class Description

Welcome to Old School Farm Pottery! In this class, you will be working with one of our ceramic artists to decorate your own place setting! This is a handbuilding and surface decorating class. We will be handbuilding two plates—a larger dinner plate and a smaller dessert plate—and decorating using plant material from Old School Farm. Your plate can have a more rustic, handbuilt quality, or you can choose to smooth and refine it depending on your personal aesthetics.

Clay, tools, and a drink are included in the price for the class.

Policies

Working with clay takes a lot of practice, and is really dirty. Even though we have aprons in house for you to use, we recommend you wear some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. At the end of class you will choose how you want your work to be glazed by picking a glaze from our glaze wall. 2-4 weeks after getting your hands dirty, your brand new artwork will be shipped to you.

Class is limited to 16 slots and is open to anyone 16 years old or older. Get your spot quick! Class Minimum of 3 people.
