Holiday Cookie Plate

Description

Welcome to Old School Farm Pottery! In this class, work with one of our professional ceramic artists to make a Holiday Cookie Plate! You will learn how to shape and build using slab and coil techniques. Students will have a part in choosing the shape of their plate, so all winter themes and holidays are welcome to join in the fun!

After a quick tour of our new studio space and introduction, your instructor will give a demonstration and answer any questions you might have. Now it’s time to get to making! Your instructor will be around to help you out and answer your questions!

Clay and tools are included in the price for the class. Tea, coffee, and sparkling water are also available on request.

Policies

Working with clay takes a lot of practice, and is really dirty. Even though we have aprons in house for you to use, we recommend you wear some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. At the end of class you will choose how you want your work to be glazed by picking a glaze from our glaze wall. 2-4 weeks after getting your hands dirty, your brand new artwork will be finished and available for pick up, or if you live outside of Davidson county,Tennessee, we can ship it to you.

Class is limited to 16 slots and is open to anyone 16 years old or older. Get your spot quick! Class Minimum of 3 people.
