Class Description

Welcome to Old School Farm Pottery! Work with one of our professional ceramic artists to build a cup of your own. Learning about the soft slab construction method and how to craft a handle using extruded clay or pulling handles. You can also add some decoration using our sprig molds. After a quick tour of our new studio space and introduction, your instructor will give a demonstration and answer any questions. Now it’s time to get to making! Your instructor will be around to help you out and answer your questions!

Clay, tools, and a drink are included in the price for the class.

Working with clay takes a lot of practice, and is really dirty. Even though we have aprons in house for you to use, we recommend you wear some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. At the end of class you will choose how you want your work to be glazed by picking a glaze from our glaze wall. 2-4 weeks after getting your hands dirty, your brand new artwork will be ready for pick-up, or we can mail it to you for an additional fee.

Class is limited to 16 slots and is open to anyone 16 years old or older. Get your spot quick! Class Minimum of 3 people.
